MP3 Downloads Frequently Asked Questions:
How can I be sure that my internet connection is able to download an entire album?
Most internet connections can download a full album. With broadband connections such as cable, DSL or cellular wireless cards, a full album will take several minutes to download, depending on your connection speed. We do not recommend purchasing downloads over a slow dial-up connection.
When I click on the link to download a free MP3 track, the music plays on my speakers, but I do not see any way to save the track to my computer. How do I do that?
Most web browsers use built in media players like Apple Quicktime so your browser will then start playing the MP3 file but it won’t download it unless you tell it to.
On a PC, right-click on the download link. Choose from the pop-up menu: “Save target as...” (in Internet Explorer) or “Save link as…” (in Firefox). Then you will see a “Save” dialog box and you can choose where you want your download to be saved.
On a Mac, control-click on the download link. Choose “Save file as…” from the pop-up menu. You will see a “Save” dialog box and you can choose where you want your download to be saved.
Do Sequoia MP3 files play on PCs and Macintosh Apple computers? Will they play on iPods or other portable MP3 player devices?
Yes, all Sequoia MP3 files are compatible with both PCs and Macintosh Apple computers and with all portable MP3 players including the iPod. The files will play on any MP3 player application on your computer, including Windows Media Player and iTunes on a PC and iTunes on a Mac.
