In your hand you hold a beam from the heart of a kindred soul, revealing at once a landscape both human and fey. A noble work of compassion and wonder, this circle of ten instrumental pieces by Gary Stadler emerges now from its three years crafting. "O you who listen by candlelight, you who whisper questions into the dark hollows of trees, you who follow the Gypsy Moon, here at last is the solace that you seek." - R. Merlin

New Age Retailer
Gary Stadler's ephemeral, angelic keyboards and piano beautifully evoke the magical world of the fairies. On Fairy Nightsongs, Singh Kaur and Stadler bring the healing mystery of the fairy folk to life. Kaur's voice soars like fairies dancing on gentle night breezes, with lyrics and pure vocalizations. Fairy Nightsongs is absolutely exquisite from beginning to end.
New Age Voice
This album picks up where Fairy of the Woods left off. Where that album featured Stadlers solo keyboard work, this one adds the beautiful voice of Singh Kaur, who has also recorded under the name of Lorellei. Other musicians join him to flesh out the sound with cello, guitar, violin, viola, harp and bass, producing an incredibly lush and romantic soundscapes where you can see the fairies play in your minds eye. It doesnt take long for the listener to feel like floating away on the lightest of airs, into the starlight and wooded glens where the fairies like to dance. Sweet, smooth and loaded with classic new age appeal.
Convergence
I cried when I first heard Fairy Nightsongs, because its "New Celtic" sound resonates deeply with ancient cellular memories, but also because Singh Kaur's voice brought to mind this great musician and personal friend who has passed from our midst. Singh Kaur's purity of soul shines through her crystal voice. Her final vocal effort with instrumentalist, Gary Stadler, on Faiy Nightsongs does not let us down, from the mystical and touching Fairy Ring to the inspiring A Spark in the Night. Knowing that Fairy Nightsongs is the last of her musical legacy gives us even more reason to acquire this harmonious collection of moving vocals and gentle instrumentals, which use real strings, harp and piano, in addition to well-voiced synthesizer tracks. Thank you, Gary Stadler for bringing us another Fairy masterpiece.
A Journal of Women's Mysteries
Fairy NightSongs is a pleasant musical journey into a magical world of wonder and relaxation. The music has the comfortable equality of a warm blanket on a cold winter evening. The vocals are lilting and clear with lyrics that evoke images that would send any dreamer soaring into the misty woods of their imagination. There is a kind of medieval feel to the quiet simplicity of these songs. A welcome addition to any fairy lover's music collection.
