All Music Guide
The second volume in the Sequoia label's Cafe de Luna series starts off with the ethereal voices and robust beats. You'll be rewarded with Joe Weineck's funky Breakfast on Neptune and Ginkgo Garden's downright rollicking Journey of the Clouds, not to mention a gorgeous and trip-hoppy arrangement of the traditional Irish song She Moved Through the Fair by Alquimia and a nice jazz-funk workout by Althea W. titled Pacifist. Recommended.

Music Design In Review
Imagine yourself viewing a golden sunset as you relax on the sandy shores of Ibiza. In the distance, the sounds of a lounge entice you with supremely chilled grooves that perfectly fit the ambiance of the Mediterranean. That's the experience of Cafe De Luna 2, a mixed compilation of smooth, breezy electronica tunes that wonderfully captures that sensual "Cafe del Mar" vibe. Featuring tracks that were chosen and sequenced by the Gordon Brothers, this set of down-tempo cuts features music from Gingko Garden, Zingaia, David and Steve Gordon, Tau, Opera to Relax and more. If you're looking to chill-out, the "Cafe de Luna" series is exactly what you are looking for. Simply press play and be transported to a place of indulgent musical bliss.
Backroads Music
Here's a second helping of super-sensual European and Stateside grooves from the same label that has produced the Buddha Lounge series. You will feel like you've arrived at the shores of Ibiza with these tantalizing tracks and exotic vocals.

The Pagan Review
Although I find this album very different from the first Cafe de Luna, it is still quite enjoyable. For me, this album focuses more on mellow and relaxing music than what was included on its predecessor. My favorites: Ma Oh Ma by Tau is reminiscent of laying on a beach at sunset while the trees sway in the breeze, which is interesting because after listening to it I realized this is the sunset edit as opposed to another version the full moon edit. Hi-Fi Rendezvous by David Gordon. Eagle Dance by David and Steve Gordon is a percussion dream. Journey of the Clouds by Ginkgo Garden is another sensational sexy song from this group. This one carries off a strong strut that builds and builds throughout the song. This is one of the quicker tempo songs out of this collection and probably my favorite. She Moved Through the Fair by Alquimia is an interesting mix of swaying vocals with a funky beat. This one is really different.
