MP3 Downloads Introduction

All of our high-quality MP3 downloads will play on iPods or any other portable MP3 player and on all computers including Windows and Mac.

This page provides instructions for downloading and listening to your MP3 purchases. Links to more help with downloads for both Windows and Mac are listed at the bottom of the page.

To Listen on Your Smartphone or Tablet, Download to Your Computer First

After you download your MP3 Albums to your computer and add them to your Media Library (instructions below), you can sync them to your Smartphone or Tablet just like any other music album or playlist.

With some mobile devices, you can find third-party applications to download and listen, but that does not allow you to listen to the MP3 albums using your device's main Music player. We can't provide support for these complicated methods. We recommend that you download the MP3 albums to your computer first and then sync to your mobile device.

How to Download Your MP3 Albums

You will receive links to download to your albums on the payment receipt page after checkout, and the links will also be sent to you in your order confirmation email.

The links will remain active for 30 days and then expire. If you need to re-download your purchases after 30 days, you can email us to request replacement links.

Click the links to begin the downloads. For help with how to "unzip" and listen to your downloads, refer to the instructions below.

For downloads purchased using your account:

If you were logged-in to your account for your purchase, then you must also be logged-in to download the MP3 albums. If you are already logged-in, the downloads will begin when you click the links.

Otherwise, the log-in page will be displayed. After logging-in, you will see a list of links for all your download purchases. Click those links to begin your downloads. You can return to your account page any time to view your complete list of download purchases.

For downloads purchased without an account:

If you were not logged-in for your purchase, the links will begin the downloads directly, but will not be saved in your account. Make sure to keep your confirmation email in case you need to access your download links again.

How to Listen to your Downloaded MP3 Albums and Songs

Each album is downloaded in a compressed form called a "zip file" contains a folder of individual MP3 files, one for each track of the album.

To listen to the albums, first the zip file has to be "unzipped".

The steps for accessing your new albums are as follows:

  • download the zip file
  • locate the downloaded file on your computer
  • unzip the zip file to reveal the folder containing the MP3 files
  • use your media player to play the MP3 files
    • you can add them to your media player library and play them from there (recommended)
    • or you can play them from their current location on your hard drive
  • it's a good idea to protect your music files from loss or damage by making backup copies

Unzip your downloaded files:

Windows: Select the Zip file you downloaded and right-click. Choose “Extract all” from the pop-up menu.

Mac: Locate the Zip file for the downloaded album and double-click the icon.

Listen your downloads using your Media Player:

After unzipping, each album will be in the form of a folder with the same name as the album. Inside the folder there will be one MP3 audio file for each song. (If you downloaded an individual song instead of an album, the process is the same, except after unzipping there will be an individual MP3 file without a folder).

The MP3 files can be played in any media player, such as Windows Media Player or iTunes, or can be transferred to any MP3 player device, including iPods and others.
